This service may be suitable if you:

• Are adolescents eligible under the National Immunisation Program schedule
• Are travelling to a region where meningococcal ACWY vaccination is recommended

Meningococcal ACWY vaccination is funded for adolescents under the National Immunisation Program schedule, and is also available privately for other ages, including before travel to higher-risk regions. 

Common side effects include soreness at the injection site.

During Your Vaccination

Your pharmacist will confirm your eligibility under the NationalImmunisation Program schedule for adolescents, or your travel-related need.

You’ll then receive the injection, with a brief monitoring period afterward.

Is this the same as Meningococcal B?

Can I get the ACWY and Meningococcal B vaccines at the same time?

In many cases yes - ask your pharmacist, as this depends on current recommendations and your individual circumstances.

Do I need this for travel?
